We’re getting together with our friends at The Chocolate Moose to organize a book-inspired wine tasting (because The Chocolate Moose also has a stellar wine list!) where the qualities of each wine get paired with books that share the same spirit. Your ticket to the tasting includes your choice of one of the featured books. Bottles of wine will be for sale at great prices too. It’s a great date, or a perfect girls night out.
We’ll have Alabama writer Lauren K. Denton back with her novel Hurricane Season, about the tumultuous summer two set-in-their-ways sisters spend with two nieces dropped on their doorstep. We’re also excited to host Spartanburg’s Michel Stone with her novel Border Child, the continuing story of immigration and hope against harrowing odds that reviews have compared to the work of John Steinbeck.
