Altrusa International of Spartanburg is announcing their 26 th Annual Souper Bowl Chili Sale on
Friday, February 10 th from Noon – 2pm. The drive-thru only sale takes place at Mobile Meals (419 E.
Main St., Spartanburg) for pick-up of $10 take-out lunch orders and pre-orders of ½ gallons and
gallons of chili and vegetarian vegetable soup.
Orders for individual $10 lunch tickets and bulk pre-orders can be made by email, phone or text to

Chili: ½ gallon – $30; gallon – $50
Vegetable Soup: ½ gallon – $20; gallon – $35

Altrusa International of Spartanburg has been serving the community since 1961 with members who
embody the spirit of altruism and who are committed to community service. The Souper Bowl Chili
Sale is the primary Altrusa Foundation fundraiser each year. Monies raised support literacy programs
and activities, provide college scholarships for non-traditional students, and fund a partnership with
Hatcher Gardens as well as numerous other service projects throughout the year.
Altrusa International, founded in 1917, unites its more than 400 clubs in a common goal of
community service. Altrusa Clubs are now in 15 countries and territories, with a membership of over
10,000.
