Hailing from Washington D.C. and known as 1⁄3 of the 85 South Show, Chico Bean knows how to deliver a well-executed joke. Born Anthony Bean, Chico Bean has the uncanny ability to memorize almost instantly the words to an old song or create a new quirky jingle on the spot. Chico contributed his skills to the long-running sketch-variety television show “Wild N’Out” hosted weekly by Nick Cannon and helped catapult the show to high viewership. Other credits include the Freestyle Funny Comedy Show and MTV 2’s Guy Court. More recently, you can see Chico Bean on set with the entire 85 South Show cracking jokes and speaking on topics that matter. Writing and acting are other talents that Chico Bean showcases throughout his career, and more recently on E! His myriad of skills and “comedic improvisation” is what keeps the fans coming back for more. If you are looking for a fresh, funny, relative, and stand out comedian, look no further than Chico Bean.
On February 12th, 13th, and 14th the Alchemy Comedy Theater is creating our biggest night of comedy of the year. Since the theater’s live events have been on pause since last spring, it will be pretty easy to make this their largest show in a while. Instead of hosting one single show jam-packed with as much comedy and people as possible, they are spreading out our fun.
Each show will only have about 16 seats available (depending on group sizes) to ensure they can stay distanced. Per city regulations and pragmatic precaution, all audience members will be required to wear masks during the entire show. No food or drink will be allowed into the show. And since their limited cast will not be wearing masks on stage, they will all be tested the week before.
Even though the crowd and cast will be limited in size, the comedy will still be HUMONGOUS. You can expect a sampler platter of all the different kinds of shows Alchemy produces in one single night. This huge event will feature a combination of improv, stand-up, and sketch comedy.
Seating is limited, so it’s always wise to pre-purchase your tickets online. Since they are encouraging people to only attend as “couples or bubbles” you can only purchase tickets in sets of 2. If your group would like to sit together, you’ll need to purchase your tickets as one large group
Hailing from Old Hickory, Tennessee, rising stand-up star Nate Bargatze’s comedy is both clean and relatable. He has been featured as one of Esquire’s “Best New Comedians” by Jim Gaffigan, Rolling Stone’s “Comedians to Watch” by Marc Maron, Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” for 2015, and as #1 on Vulture‘s “50 Comedians You Should Know” in 2015.
Following the showbiz footsteps of his dad, a former clown turned world-class magician, Bargatze’s debut TV special, Full Time Magic, and debut album, Yelled at By a Clown, came out in 2015. The album reached #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and remained on Billboard’s Top Ten Comedy Charts for weeks. His first half-hour Netflix special, The Standups, premiered in 2017, and his first solo one-hour Netflix special, The Tennessee Kid, came out this year. He currently has a deal with 20th Century Fox to develop his own TV show.
Bargatze has made multiple appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and @midnight. Off-screen, he performed as part of Fallon’s Clean Cut Comedy Tour and Chris Rock’s Total Blackout Tour, along with live shows for the troops in Iraq and Kuwait. He regularly appears at Bonnaroo, SXSW, Oddball Comedy Festival, Sasquatch, Clusterfest, and the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival.

Jessica “Jess Hilarious” Moore started off her comedy career in skits where she captured the attention of thousands within weeks with her witty humor. He became a favorite on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s and came to prominence with his first starring role in the 1995 cult classic film Friday, starring alongside Ice Cube. In 1997, Tucker embarked on his first production as executive producer and co-starred in the hit movie Money Talks with Charlie Sheen. That same year, he also appeared in Luc Besson’s highly successful The Fifth Element. In 2006, Tucker negotiated an unprecedented $25 million salary to appear in Rush Hour 3, which at the time made him the highest paid actor in Hollywood.
Tucker co-starred in the 2013 Oscar®-nominated film Silver Linings Playbook with Robert DeNiro, Jennifer Lawrence, and Bradley Cooper. Regan premiered his seventh hour-long comedy release in 2017, a Netflix special titled “Brian Regan: Nunchucks and Flamethrowers,” alongside Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Jerry Seinfeld.
