We’ll be releasing the 2018 blends of 18 Mile Red Plum in 500ml bottles starting on Friday 10/12 at 4PM in the taproom.
18 Mile Red Plum (7.2%) This rustic refined ale is our 18 Mile Red which was fermented in regional wine barrels and aged for six months before blending in massive amounts of local plums to referment and age an additional three months in the barrel before bottling. The bright acidity of this beer is created using a strain of locally collected lactobacillus isolated by SouthYeast labs. The initial bite of this red ale is balanced by jammy plum notes and a vinous oak barrel character.
18 Mile Red Plum is one of the most popular variants of our 18 Mile Red series, so these bottles are going to quickly! As always, we’ll have the beer on tap for you try & bottles available to go!
