The Hilarious And Touching Comedy About Friendships
Five Southern women, whose friendships began on their college swim team, meet every August at the same beach cottage to catch up, laugh, and meddle in each other’s lives. As the years pass, these women rely on one another to get through life’s challenges, including some hilarious and unexpected twists and turns.
Every Friday & Saturday this summer Alchemy presents a scripted and improvised show celebrating our return to life and live theater!
Our Mainstage productions are the top tier of Alchemy Comedy shows. The first half of “Blockbuster Summer” is our love letter to the movie and theater experience with themed scripted sketches and improv comedy games. The second half is a fully improvised movie all inspired by an audience suggestion. This show has a limited run in only June and July so don’t miss it!

This weekly show features a rotating cast of players bringing you a fast-paced mix of short-form improv games and long-form improv scenes.

WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? is 90 minutes of hilarious improvised comedy and song all based on audience suggestions. Cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray will leave you gasping with the very witty scenes they invent before your eyes. Audience participation is key to the show so bring your suggestions and you might be asked to join the cast onstage! WHOSE LIVE ANYWAY? showcases some of the improv games made famous on the long-running TV show as well as some exciting new ones, featuring musical direction by Bob Derkach
This show features a rotating line-up of long-form House Teams or students and is always headlined by Haymaker, our Flagship Harold team.

Local Legends: Improv comedy inspired by true stories
Every Friday night a new local legend (person of note) tells their own local legends (true stories) to inspire this fully improvised show.

Glenn travels the U.S. putting on shows that contain comedy, audience interaction, magic, music, humorous stories & even an inspirational message. Glenn has worked years developing a one-of-a-kind quality program that does not embarrass or make fun of any audience member. My programs are all about the audience’s feelings. he is there to help them have a great fun time laughing with their friends, forget their everyday problems, feel good about their life & be happy they attended & look at their life in a bit of a “Strange” way.

In this beloved play, a colorful family from a small Texas town must come to grips with the accidental death of the elderly family matriarch during a clandestine meeting in a seedy motel room with her much younger, married neighbor. The woman’s family must deal with their own demons while preparing for what could be an embarrassing funeral.
SEATING IS VERY LIMITED DUE TO REDUCED SEATING CAPACITY.

Due to the current global health crisis as well as travel and performance restrictions, the original August 16, 2020 show on Jim Gaffigan’s The Pale Tourist tour at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC has been rescheduled for August 15, 2021. This very difficult decision was made following the recommendations of government authorities including the Center for Disease Control to reduce the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). All tickets for the original performance will be honored, so patrons should hold on to their tickets. For ticket and refund inquiries, please contact point of purchase.
