Napoleon, Chautauqua History Comes Alive Talk, Free
Jan 15 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Hughes Main Library, 25 Heritage Green Pl, Greenville, SC 29601

Join an audience that loves talking back to history to discuss Napoleon and the Age of Revolution – with Monique Glass, President of Alliance Francaise and recipient of the “Chevalier de l’Ordre des Palmes Academiques” from the French government.

No military figure in history has been quite as polarizing as Napoleon Bonaparte. Was he a monster, driven by an endless, ruinous quest for military glory? Or a social and political visionary brought down by petty, reactionary kings of Europe? Let’s talk about it.

This event is NOT a costumed performance. Mark Schneider, from Colonial Williamsburg, will perform as Napoleon in Winter Chautauqua (Feb 1,2,3)
