Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings
Dec 14 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
Mill Town Players

Forever Plaid: Plaid Tidings – The Funny, Feel Good Holiday Musical

The Plaids are back to do their Christmas Special! At first, Francis, Jinx, Smudge and Sparky aren’t sure why they’ve returned to Earth for another posthumous performance, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets them know that they’re needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world. Sprinkled among the Christmas offerings are audience favorites, like their riotous three-minute-and-eleven-second version of The Ed Sullivan Show – this time, featuring the Rockettes, the Chipmunks and The Vienna Boys Choir, as well as a Plaid Caribbean Christmas that puts the “Day-O” in Excelsis! This truly “heaven-sent” holiday treat will lift audiences’ spirits and fill them with nostalgia for a bygone era of classic music sung in perfect harmony.

Directed and choreographed by Kimberlee Ferreira with musical direction by Chase McAbee

2018 Santa Fun Run/Walk
Dec 15 @ 9:00 am – 11:30 pm
Spartanburg County Community Emergency Response Team

The 2018 Santa Fun Run/Walk 5K will take place at:

December 15, 2018 – 9am
Leroy Mathis Park
50 Bishop St
Inman, Sc 29349
Packet Pickup/Race Day Registration: 8am-9am

Once again, the only cost to run is a toy donation. These toys are given to kids in the Inman Community via the Inman Police Department. SCSAR and CERT Support coordinate the event and as always, the big man himself, Santa Claus, will be there for those who have last minute Christmas requests.

Last year, 162 people ran this race and I hope we can come close, maybe even surpass that number this year (see the pic from last year – awesome community support). However, the only way we can do that is for you, your family, your friends, your church groups, your community groups, etc to take part in this awesome race for a great cause.

If anyone has any questions regarding the race, feel free to call 864-595-5368. To register, click here: https://www.myregnow.com/robbie-swoffo…/…/2018-santa-fun-run. Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope we’re afforded the opportunity to have a great crowd which will result in a lot of happy kids on Christmas Day.
