We are beyond thrilled to Welcome back Bobby Bare Jr, namesake of our Bobby Beer Jr Kolsch!
Doors open at noon, ticketed only after 2 PM, music starts at 3!
About Bobby:
Bobby Bare, Jr. couldve phoned in a career. He couldve exploited the fact that hes the son of iconic Country Music Hall of Famer Bobby Bare, was born into Nashvilles Music Row elite, and counted artists like Shel Silverstein as close family friends and George Jones and Tammy Wynette as next door neighbors. Instead, Bobby blazed a path of unique songwriting craftsmanship with a voice that blows through you like an unyielding wind on the desolate prairie.
With a big-as-the-room persona, an ability to rock the doors off the most jaded of clubs, the heart to hold a room completely still with just his guitar, and a genius for arrangement, Bobby Bare, Jr. and his band of merry makers are one of the most unique bunches around. They are adept at abandoning common sense in favor of laying themselves at the feet of a rambunctious, freewheeling, and unfettered and unhinged muse.

Paula Brown Stafford and Lisa T. Grimes present Remember Who YOU Are: Achieve Success. Create Balance. Experience Fulfillment.
It’s the elusive trifecta every working woman desperately seeks.
Do you find yourself trying to be everything to everyone? Do you run yourself ragged but still feel something is missing? The struggle is real and all too common. Paula Brown Stafford and Lisa T. Grimes are two award-winning, c-suite executives who together have accumulated 60 plus years of work experience at the highest levels, 60 years of marriage, and raised four successful children. Collectively, they have managed more than 25,000 employees globally. Paula recently retired as President, Clinical Development at QuintilesIMS and Lisa has served as President & CEO of PurThread Technologies. Although Paula and Lisa were fierce competitors 20 years ago, they eventually formed a friendship and now, as a team, speak to corporations and women’s groups on a number of topics, including Complementing Not Competing, Packing Your Potential, and The Juggling Act.
In a transparent and relatable way, Paula and Lisa share personal experiences, insights and encouragement–what they wish they’d known 30 years ago–to women looking for career advancement and quality of life and men who want to improve their working relationships with women. Each chapter includes a personal letter from a successful female executive to her younger self that offers wise counsel for aspiring professional women. For working women who are still trying to ‘have it all’ but are left feeling not ‘good enough, ‘ Paula and Lisa explain how achieving success, creating balance and experiencing fulfillment begins and ends with Remember(ing) Who You Are.

About August Book Selection:
2014 NATIONAL BOOK AWARD FINALIST
A touching, hilarious “tour de force of imagination and empathy” (Booklist, starred review) from John Corey Whaley, author of the Printz and Morris Award-winning Where Things Come Back.
Listen–Travis Coates was alive once and then he wasn’t.
Now he’s alive again.
Simple as that.
The in between part is still a little fuzzy, but Travis can tell you that, at some point or another, his head got chopped off and shoved into a freezer in Denver, Colorado. Five years later, it was reattached to some other guy’s body, and well, here he is. Despite all logic, he’s still sixteen, but everything and everyone around him has changed. That includes his bedroom, his parents, his best friend, and his girlfriend. Or maybe she’s not his girlfriend anymore? Looks like if the new Travis and the old Travis are ever going to find a way to exist together, then there are going to be a few more scars. Oh well, you only live twice.
“The absolute best head transplant surgery love story I’ve ever read.” –Matthew Quick, author of Silver Linings Playbook.

Alright, everyone…… time to share this event!!!!! Let’s do this. Help us keep Hard Rock in Spindale!
Tickets on sale soon with a Meet N Greet option as well (limited to 50 people, that’s it).
Best known for their Grammy nominated Best Hard Rock Performance hit, “Once Bitten, Twice Shy,” Great White has sold over 10 million albums worldwide, has six Top 100 Billboard hits, nine Top 200 Billboard albums, two platinum albums, and clocked the top of MTV video four times.
To experience their hits live in concert—“Rock Me,” “Mista Bone,” “Save Your Love,” “House of Broken Love,” and “Lady Red Light”—is to ride an emotional wave of sultry connections, arousing lyrics, and an all-out marathon of hard-hitting orchestrations. Great White continues to tour worldwide and in the last two years logged nearly 200 dates in several states and countries. The band celebrated numerous milestones that included several sold-out performances, a return to the Zurich, Switzerland’s Rock Im Tal Festival, and for the first time ever, a handful of intimate, acoustic performances. They returned to the classic rock radio charts with “Complicated” off of 2012’s Elation. The band’s 12th studio album, Elation, garnered high marks from numerous rock journalists behind the pesky “Something For You,” the cheeky “Shotgun Willie’s,” and the emotional, Top 10 classic rock radio entry, “Hard To Say Goodbye.”
