Each spring, the Converse College community joins together in the annual celebration of the birthday of Dexter Edgar Converse, the school’s founder. It was upon Dexter Converse’s ideal of the well-being of any country depending upon the culture of her women that the college was established in 1889.
After Convocation, the Converse community enjoys Dexter Converse’s favorite dessert, strawberries and cream.
Scholarship donors of the College will have an opportunity to dine with the hundreds of students benefitting from their generosity and see first-hand the positive impact of their investments.

The Upcountry History Museum explores the world of superheroes and superstars through a special exhibition from the Norman Rockwell Museum. Superheroes and Superstars: The Works of Alex Ross includes over 100 pieces of original artwork; including paintings, sketches, and models created by Alex Ross, one of the greatest artists in the field of comic books.

Each Homeschool Day includes a guided experience in one of the museum’s galleries, hands-on activities in our classrooms, and all day admission to the Museum. Programs are multidisciplinary and support South Carolina state standards for social studies.
Children have the power to change the world. Join us as we remember three very special children, the struggles they faced, and how their spirits endured. Students will read, discuss, and create projects related to Anne Frank (the Holocaust), Ruby Bridges (the Civil Rights Movement), and Ryan White (the AIDS epidemic).

Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays
Wind up the work week at Greenville Heritage FCU Main Street Fridays presented by Pepsi, listening and dancing to the best in musical entertainment every Friday from March 16 to September 28, 2018.
This weekly music series on Main Street at NOMA Square opens at 5:30 p.m. and closes at 9:30 p.m., with bands playing 2 sets at 5:50 p.m and 7:40 p.m. on the CPI Security Stage. In addition, the Kids’ Area features a variety of inflatables to add to the family fun.

The Clemson MBA Student Association is honored to host our first annual event for the Greenville Health Systems ALS Clinic, One Main Roar, as their first major benefit to support patients and families of the upstate living with ALS.
This years event will feature live music, brews by 13 stripes, live music and silent auction.
David Tann, creative director of Tantrum Agency in Atlanta, presents “Sleep When You’re Dead.” Tann is an award-winning creative who works with global brands. Throughout his career, he has launched brands for Abercrombie & Fitch, designed record-breaking holiday campaigns for Bath & Body Works, managed packaging for Kohl’s department store, revitalized the OshKosh B’gosh clothing brand, directed e-commerce for Carter’s, and unveiled the new identity for his hometown NBA basketball team, the Atlanta Hawks.
Join us for a beer and wine reception to kick off the event at 5 p.m.; talk begins at 6 p.m.
