William Finn and James Lapine’s groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning musical FALSETTOS returned to Broadway in an all new production from Lincoln Center Theater, and was nominated for Five 2017 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical. Lapine returned to direct an extraordinary cast in a production that will be seen this Fall on PBS stations nationwide.
FALSETTOS revolves around the life of a charming, intelligent, neurotic gay man named Marvin, his wife, lover, about-to-be-Bar-Mitzvahed son, their psychiatrist, and the lesbians next door. It’s a hilarious and achingly poignant look at the infinite possibilities that make up a modern family… and a beautiful reminder that love can tell a million stories.

THE THIRD ANNUAL FUNK COLLECTIVE IS COMING HOME
TO GREENVILLE, SC ON SATURDAY, JUNE 29, 2019.
The Funk Collective is the best and wildest party celebrating breweries with a dedicated funk and sour program. The event features curated beers from 50+ independent breweries across the world.
This true Greenville original is unlike any beer event you’ve ever attended. We will tap kegs and pop bottles in a communal, mixed lineup. In other words, real time tapping. Every station will rotate each beer, with no brewery pouring consecutive beers. Time is relative to the rate each station/keg is emptied. It’s about a flow.
THINK MASSIVE BOTTLE SHARE.
Ticket prices for each of the sessions include a commemorative tasting glass, unlimited samples of your choice of beers, and a festival guide to help you navigate the taps and bottle stations. Profits from the Funk Collective go to Love Thy Neighbor network of non-profits in Greenville, SC. More information on parking, logistics, and other day-of information will be emailed to ticket holders as it becomes available.

Our second shaving event, bigger than before. In case you didn’t already know, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity committed to funding the best childhood cancer research through signature head-shaving events. Volunteers register to shave their locks at a local event. In the process, they set a fundraising goal and encourage friends and family to donate. These action-packed events have one meaningful goal – raise as much money as we can for lifesaving kids cancer research. And I need folks to sign up as team captains, to hold their own fundraisers and sign up shavees.

This puppy social is open to puppies who have had their first two rounds of vaccinations AND have waited a full 7 days since last vaccinated (to make sure the vaccine has taken effect). The cut off age for puppy participation is 4 months old.
Socializing your puppy is one of the most important things you can do! Proper socialization ensures that your puppy has good experiences around new puppies and people. Good experiences in puppyhood often leads to good behaviors in adulthood around the things they were socialized with!
In this Puppy Social, your puppy will meet new puppies and people in a safe environment chaperoned by Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Lindsay Plank with The K9 Corner!
WHAT TO BRING:
Your puppy on a 4-6ft leash (no flexi/retractable leashes) and in a harness or flat collar.
Tasty, smelly training treats
Vaccination records
One handler per pup required.
NEED TO KNOW:
Seminars will take place in the Animal Care Education Building rain or shine.
Vaccination records are required for entry.
An Eventbrite ticket is required for entry.*
Ticket sales will be donated directly to Animal Care’s Behavior Department and are non-refundable!
*If ticket holders fail to show within 5 minutes of seminar start, a non-ticket holder may be accommodated for the seminar.
