Breastfeeding can protect children against asthma, allergies, and bone loss later in life.

Start:ME Spartanburg in partnership with USC Upstate’s Johnson College of Business and Economics and the Northside Development Group will facilitate the ribbon cutting ceremony. Start: ME Spartanburg was created to support aspiring entrepreneurs to start or grow their businesses with a focus on three 3 core components – knowledge in the form of access to education through business training, networks through resources and advice through mentoring, and capital through peer-selected small dollar micro loans.

Enabling Discovery-The Journey Begins!
Through exploratory research, hands-on construction, teamwork, and imagination, FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. challenges teams of up to six children to explore a scientific concept, then build a model and code it to make it move using LEGO® Education WeDo 2.0. In the process, teams learn about teamwork, the wonders of science and technology, and the FIRST LEGO League Jr. Core Values, which include respect, sharing, and critical thinking. They also develop a Show-Me Poster to illustrate their journey of discovery. Our Off-Season league is for any LEGO builder that wishes to enhance their LEGO building knowledge. Children K5 – 3rd grade (6yr to 10yr). The weekly meeting will concentrate on robotics and provide knowledge, enhancing your child’s jrFLL Challenge Season starting Fall 2018.
