Have no fear, Festivus is almost here! We’re bringing back your favorite holiday for the 4th year in a row! All the expected elements will be there – the Festivus pole, airing of grievances, and feats of strength – along with a few Haus Bites specials and live music from Abbey Elmore Band 5-8pm and The Stinkbugs 9pm-12am. As always, we will have the best in craft beer and bites for you to enjoy, and who knows, maybe even a Festivus miracle!

Every animal deserves to have a home for the holidays. Open your heart and your home to foster a pet this holiday season. Pick-up days are Dec. 19-22 and drop-off days are any time after Dec. 27. You must be able to foster for at least 6 days to participate.

Catawba Brewing is proud to participate in the Resilience IPA fundraiser project in partnership with over 1000 craft breweries across the country.
Giving back to our local communities has always been at the top of the Catawba mission statement, and we’re happy to help Sierra Nevada give back to theirs by donating 100% of our Resilience IPA sales to the Camp Fire Relief Fund.
Look for our Resilience IPA to start pouring in Catawba tasting rooms on Friday, December 21. Please come out and join us as we raise a glass to our friends and fellow craft beer lovers on the West Coast.

Salvage Archaeology in the Heart of Cofitachequi: A Native American Chiefdom

Much of successful archaeology involves our ability to “read the dirt.” In the summer of 2018, investigations were undertaken at the largest known site within this society aimed at understanding the occupational sequence and in particular when and how three extant pyramidal mounds were constructed along the Wateree River. The layers in the ground can answer many questions about the human past.

Fireforge invites you to celebrate the Winter Solstice—the shortest day of the year, which means a long night fit for drinking! We’ll be releasing Griffin, our winter warmer with persimmons, vanilla beans, cinnamon and nutmeg.

This art class is for children to hand paint an ornament for their grandparents or loved one. Wooden ornaments will be provided to each child attending. In this class I will teach your child to paint a beautiful ornament for their loved one. What better way to let your child create a special gift for someone they love. Tickets are 10$ per ornament.
Age limit for this class is 4 and up. Please bring a book to read or enjoy a quiet moment to watch your child learn the world of art. I do ask that you stay at the location with your child just to chaperone. The deadline to purchase a ticket ends December 16th. I must know how many children will be attending to ensure enough ornaments will be provided. You are more than welcome to let your child paint more than one ornament. Each ornament is 10$. If you want to purchase more than one ornament for your child just buy the amount of tickets needed for the amount of ornaments you want.

I might not have made myself clear and lets be honest I’m a little scatter brained sometimes. Anyway, I do not offer refunds for my paint classes. This is because its just too confusing and a lot more of a problem then it needs to be. So with that being said if you are unable to make it to a class I will give you two options for my next classes that you can transfer your ticket to. If you cancel a second time then its a harsh loss. I understand life gets in the way but this is my job and life that I have to maintain. Thank you for understanding.
