National Book Award Finalist Min Jin Lee to Talk About Latest Korean Novel at Fiction Addiction

From national bestselling author Min Jin Lee comes her latest novel, Pachinko (Grand Central Publishing, paperback, $15.99), a finalist for the National Book Award. This page-turning saga follows four generations of a poor Korean immigrant family fighting to control their destiny in 20th-century Japan while exiled from a home they never knew. Ms. Lee will discuss her new book at a book talk, followed by a Q&A session and a book signing, at Fiction Addiction on Monday, February 5th, at 3pm.

Tickets are $16.95 each. Each ticket admits one and includes a paperback copy of Pachinko. Tickets and books can be purchased online, at the store, or by calling Fiction Addiction at 864-675-0540.

Fiction Addiction Storytime

Fiction Addiction hosts a free children’s storytime at our shop at 1175 Woods Crossing Rd. #5 every Thursday morning at 10:30am.

Gallery Talk and Reception: Reconstructed Images and Nature Morte

On February 8th at 6:00pm in the gallery, UNCC art professor Andrew Leventis will present a Gallery Talk discussing Reconstructed Images and Nature Morte and his art process. The talk will be followed by a reception from 6:30-8:00pm.

Reconstructed Images and Nature Morte will run in the Milliken Art Gallery from February 8-28, 2018.

The exhibition is located in the Milliken Art Gallery and is free of charge. Gallery hours are Sunday – Thursday 2:00-5:00pm. The Gallery is closed during school holidays.
