In 2017, Regan was cast as Mugsy in Peter Farrelly’s dark comedy series Loudermilk starring Ron Livingston. The series has earned critical acclaim with a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. Creator Farrelly praised Regan on his dark subversive performance in the show by saying, “the performance [Regan] gives this year is the best performance on television this year.” On the series “Loudermilk,” comedian Brian Regan plays Mugsy, a wisecracking goofball struggling to get off booze.

In 2012, Brian appeared in the first season of Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” in the episode “A Monkey and a Lava Lamp”. Brian returned to the tenth season in 2018 with the episode “Are There Left-Handed Spoons?”.

We’ve heard your valuable feedback, and now you don’t have to hear us! Beginning May 4, 2021, the period between 8 and 10 a.m. on the first Tuesday morning of every month will be reserved for “Meditative Mornings,” a pause for quiet time in our gardens and on our trails. During this time, our working garden crew will abstain from using leaf blowers, mowers and other equipment so you can be sure to enjoy the sounds of birds and the wind in the trees.
Take advantage of half-price parking on the first Tuesday of every month and come out to the Arboretum to enjoy a Meditative Morning!

This is not a show and not a typical Alchemy class. Although it requires no comedy or theater experience, it is best used for current students or performers to get extra practice time on the Alchemy stage. There is no audience for Improv 000’s.
These practices are free for current Alchemy Performers and Students (though they must pre-register). However, anyone interested can also register online for $10. All participants must pre-register online (registration closes at 4:00 PM). However, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late you may lose your reservation.

Since 2011, the Alchemy Comedy Theater has been running weekly improv shows in Downtown Greenville, SC. Every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 and 9:00 pm there is a completely new comedy show that has never been seen before and will never be seen again. Greenville has street parking available as well as several nearby parking garages.

Steve Martin and Martin Short’s “The Dukes of Funnytown!” is a show that redefines the form in unexpected and profound ways, from two of the funniest, most influential and acclaimed talents of the past century. Their humor is often subversive, but it is always a joyous self-deprecating romp from two comedy masters driven to make each other laugh as much as the audience. The jokes come at you at a rapid-fire pace with little set-up and big punch lines as they mock Hollywood and the fickle nature of celebrity, but the comedy truly soars when they lovingly (and relentlessly) roast each other. Martin and Short’s chemistry and timing on stage reflects a friendship forged over three decades which developed when they met for the first time on the set of the 1986 film “Three Amigos.” These two titans of comedy have been touring together since 2015, when they launched their first live show entitled “A Very Stupid Conversation.”

Leaving Dublin, Ireland where he was born and raised until the age of 22, David got drunk on travel and never quite hit sobriety of it. He has lived and worked in twelve countries and visited over seventy. His shows draw on his wide travels, cultural observations, attempts at language study, (occasional) international drinking session(s) and being a mildly confused immigrant. David is the winner of the prestigious annual San Francisco Comedy Competition, (previous finalists include Robin Williams, Ellen DeGeneres and Dana Carvey) and runner-up in the Moth’s largest US Grandslam storytelling competition.
