Evil Dead In Concert, a live to film experience that thrills and chills, resurrects Sam Raimis beloved cult classic in a way audiences have never seen before, in this lifetime.
The legendary film will be screened in a newly restored format and brought to life on stage while a live ensemble performs the entire revamped original musical score from composer Joe LoDuca.
Evil Dead follows five college students on vacation in an isolated cabin in the woods, where they unwittingly release absolute evil into the world and have to fight to survive. This indie classic is known as one of the most significant cult horror films of all time, and has generated a massive following worldwide since its release.

For over 85 years, creating independent yet deeply connected stories has been the foundation of the Marvel Universe. As the comic book industry gained momentum in the 1930s, Stan Lee, an aspiring writer, joined Timely Comics, the forerunner to Marvel Comics. In 1940, Timely introduced characters such as Captain America, Toro, the Whizzer, and even Miss America, who with the Human Torch, founded the Invaders, dedicated to combating Nazi forces in Europe. Following the war, the group was renamed the All-Winners Squad with the mission to fight crime in the U.S.
Over the next two decades, new characters in different genres expanded the growing repertoire of stories which furthered the narratives of heroes and villains. By the 1960s, Marvel had risen in popularity. Lee and artist Jack Kirby created the company’s first family with The Fantastic Four in 1961, followed in 1962 with Spider-Man, well Daredevil, Nick Fury, Incredible Hulk, and the X-Men.

Avengers: Endgame debuted in theaters in 2019 and became the highest-grossing film of all time that year. In partnership with The Walt Disney Company’s Marvel Studios and private collectors, the Upcountry History Museum will present an exclusive 2000 square foot exhibition featuring an extraordinary display of original costumes, props, and memorabilia showcasing the film’s messages of teamwork, courage, and perseverance.
The first exhibition of its kind in the United States, the project invites visitors of all ages to traverse the Marvel Universe. This once-in-a lifetime experience will explore the fourth installment in the Avengers saga and is the culmination of 22 interconnected Marvel films and the climax of a journey. The exhibit’s design and messaging will emulate Avengers: Endgame’s principles of friendship, teamwork, and setting aside differences to overcome impossible obstacles.

Join us for a concert that features the talented students of Greenville County Youth Orchestras (GCYO) led by conductors Neil Casey, Elizabeth Conrad, Patrick Murch, Charis Burger, and Kathy Robinson. The ensembles include Prelude, Intermezzo, Philharmonic, and Young Artist Orchestra. They will perform advanced orchestral music.
Greenville County Youth Orchestras, celebrating more than 50 years of music making, is an educational program for students in Greenville who play an orchestral instrument. Find out more information at gcyo.net. Auditions are held every spring in May. GCYO rehearses weekly at the Fine Arts Center and at League Academy.
Greenville County Youth Orchestras Association is a local arts non profit organization that receives support from the Greenville County School District, Metropolitan Arts Council, the South Carolina Arts Commission, and private donations from friends of the organization. Join the Greenville Police Department and Bon Secours Wellness Arena for the Fill the Cruisers Emergency Food Drive, benefiting Project Host. With food insecurity rising and potential delays in SNAP benefits across South Carolina, this community event aims to support local families in need ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Residents are encouraged to stop by the Arena and help fill police cruisers with nonperishable food and essential items, which will be delivered directly to Project Host’s Soup Kitchen and outreach programs. Most needed items include canned vegetables and fruit, canned proteins, rice, pasta, sauces, peanut butter and jelly, applesauce, snack crackers, mac & cheese, and pop-top soups. Monetary donations can also be made at projecthost.org.

A Blend Of Southern Traditions
Out of the rich roots music traditions of the Southern Blue Ridge Mountains comes the authentic sound of Fireside Collective. A band steeped in the technical proficiency of bluegrass music, their sound draws on blues, country, and folk traditions while being interpreted through the exciting instrumental interplay of an American jamband. Energetic, inspired solos featuring mandolin, dobro, and acoustic guitar are woven tastefully atop the rock-solid rhythm section of electric bass and drums. Formed in Asheville, NC in 2014, the ensemble has been winning over audiences across the country with their soaring vocals and heartfelt original music.
