We have always loved the way food and wine tell stories from the table. So we’re teaming up with our friends at Mission Grape to highlight new winemakers, pairing their bottles with inspired food from the mastermind of Chef Teryi Youngblood Musolf for a really special evening. Welcome to Big Wine Nights with Camilla Kitchen, super-exclusive chef-centered wine dinners we host in our beautiful event space, The Gallery at M. Judson.
“Buona Notte is driven by wine, but ruled by its belly.” —winemaker Graham Markel
The first time we tasted Buona Notte Wines, we knew we’d found a kindred spirit. (We might be driven by books, but we’ve got some pretty great gastronomical rulers these days too.) Buona Notte makes natural wines from vineyards in the Columbia River Gorge, a region of tremendous diversity that straddles both Washington and Oregon, from desert to tropical rainforest, including two volcanoes. Put that kind of terroir into the hands of a winemaker with a lifelong love of Italy and Italian food, and you’ve got some real magic to contend with. Chef Teryi paired these varietals from Buona Notte with her favorite Italian-American dishes, food to truly complement the character of the wines.
Both Chef Teryi and Danny Baker from Mission Grape will be on hand to talk roots and inspiration. Wines will be available for sale by the bottle and by the case at a 15% discount. Take a look at the menu below and get your tickets today!
