Outdoor concerts bringing live music to downtown Greenville kick off this week.
Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive and Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays will return to NOMA Square for the 2024 season with a lineup of new and returning artists.
Downtown Alive starts Thursday, March 14 with performances by Linda Faye’s Sound. Benefiting the Metropolitan Arts Council, the weekly music series runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday until late August.

Join us for this month’s open mic at Fretwell. From 6pm-8pm you could take the stage and sing a song, recite poetry, dance, anything! The stage is yours!
Fretwell is a “family-friendly” location. Participants are asked to keep performances as such.
This event is free to attend and participate in.

Fretwell is Spartanburg’s newest gathering spot, located just a few steps off the Mary Black Rail Trail. Whether you’re here to rest from the Trail, have a beer or coffee with friends, or listen to live music with your family, we’ll have a spot for you.
Kid Billy (Billy Litz) is an Asheville, NC based multi-instrumentalist and singer with a lust for song-writing. Taking cues from early American Roots music, Blues and Ragtime, Kid Billy’s earnest songwriting meets high energy jubilant sounds when tasteful live looping layers New Orleans trumpet, honky-tonk piano, acoustic guitar and harmonica. When not performing as Kid Billy, he is the lead singer and primary songwriter in the the 4-piece soul/rock band, Hustle Souls

Pierce Edens with Bottomlands & Double Naught Spies
Anna Palmer and Steve Green make up half of the local band Squirrel Level Road. As a duo they bring an acoustic folk style complete with harmonies to many of your favorite songs from the past 50 years and some songs that you may not have heard yet. You may also hear them play an original song or two.
