Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive presented by Clemson MBA will give local bands the opportunity to earn a paid gig at the concert series as part of a Gimme the Gig band contest.
Now through May 31, bands are invited to submit their audio or video for the opportunity to earn a spot at the popular weekly concert series.
Participating bands will ultimately be narrowed down to a maximum of five finalists, giving music fans the opportunity to cast a vote for their favorite band online at facebook.com/downtownalive. The band receiving the largest number of votes will earn a paid gig at Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive on August 27.
