The Mast General Store Furman Football FanFest is set for Sunday, August 28th, from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville.
Sponsored by Mast General Store for the eighth consecutive year, the event offers Furman fans the opportunity to secure the official 2016 Furman poster and autographs and take pictures with their favorite Paladin players and head coach Bruce Fowler.
Sir Paladin will also be on hand along with E-Dawg, the Furman cheerleaders, and the “Voice of the Paladins” Dan Scott.
The first 300 fans wearing purple to report to the Furman FanFest table, located in the Main Street Plaza next to the Greenville Drive Ticket Office, will receive a free ticket to the Drive’s 4:00 p.m. game that day versus the Asheville Tourists. Discounted $6 tickets are available now and can also be purchased on Aug. 28th through the Drive Ticket Office, located on the corner of Markley and Main Street.
Kids will be allowed on the field following the game to run the bases.
Furman, which returns 16 starters and opens preseason practice on Thursday with a 9:30 a.m. practice at the Bob King Practice Field Complex, kicks off the season on Friday, Sept. 2, at defending Big Ten champion and College Football Playoff semifinalist Michigan State.
