Public Invited to Name New Elementary School to Open at Former Site of JL Mann High Academy

Greenville County Schools is accepting suggestions from the public to name the new elementary school that will open in August 2025 at 61 Isbell Lane, Greenville.

The new elementary school will have a capacity of 750 students and serve grades Pre-K through 5th grade with an academic focus on environmental science.  Click the button on the Greenville County Schools informational page to submit a suggestion for the new school’s name. Submissions will be accepted through April 1, 2024.

The school is being constructed on the former site of JL Mann High Academy, which moved to its current site on Fairforest Way in 2007. The attendance area for the new school will be determined in the fall of 2024.

Please submit your suggestion only once. The Board of Trustees will approve the school’s name in May 2024.
