Meals on Wheels of Greenville Delivers 12 Millionth Meal

Meals on Wheels of Greenville recently delivered its 12 millionth meal in Greenville County. Executive Director Catriona Carlisle and Barbara Burgess, a volunteer of over 30 years, delivered the meal together.

The recipients were Cecil and Virginia Rollins, who have been receiving Meals on Wheels free of charge since 2016.

“This is a tremendous milestone not only for our organization, but for our entire community,” said Catriona Carlisle, Executive Director at Meals on Wheels of Greenville. “The delivery of our 12 millionth meal is a testament to the generosity of our volunteers, donors, community partners and so many other who have made this possible.”

Meals on Wheels of Greenville’s 12 millionth meal delivery comes less than one month before the organization will celebrate 50 years of service to the community.
