In the bleak midwinter, Victorians liked nothing more during the holiday season than to light a candle and tell ghost stories. Ghost stories of Christmases Past will walk once more, conjured with candlelight lighting & Victorian Chamber metal band, Valentine Wolfe’s haunted music.
Downtown Hendersonville’s Olde Fashion Christmas coincides with our musical event. (5 p.m. to 8 p.m.) The downtown merchants open their doors & invite holiday shoppers in with festive window displays, decorations, caroling, Music & refreshments. Stop by before, during or after for some tasty specials at The Poe House. Than starting at 7 p.m. Valentine Wolfe Presents: The Ghosts of Christmases Past. Two classically trained musicians combining ambient solo bass, brutal distortion, electronica and 18th century opera to tell a story of the macabre.
