This puppy social is open to puppies who have had their first two rounds of vaccinations AND have waited a full 7 days since last vaccinated (to make sure the vaccine has taken effect). The cut off age for puppy participation is 4 months old.
Socializing your puppy is one of the most important things you can do! Proper socialization ensures that your puppy has good experiences around new puppies and people. Good experiences in puppyhood often leads to good behaviors in adulthood around the things they were socialized with!
In this Puppy Social, your puppy will meet new puppies and people in a safe environment chaperoned by Certified Professional Dog Trainer, Lindsay Plank with The K9 Corner!
WHAT TO BRING:
Your puppy on a 4-6ft leash (no flexi/retractable leashes) and in a harness or flat collar.
Tasty, smelly training treats
Vaccination records
One handler per pup required.
NEED TO KNOW:
Seminars will take place in the Animal Care Education Building rain or shine.
Vaccination records are required for entry.
An Eventbrite ticket is required for entry.*
Ticket sales will be donated directly to Animal Care’s Behavior Department and are non-refundable!
*If ticket holders fail to show within 5 minutes of seminar start, a non-ticket holder may be accommodated for the seminar.
