Our next meeting will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 . It will be at the Laurens County Library at 7:30 pm. The speaker will be Richard Fowler. He will discuss ” Discovering Laurens County ” Volume III, ” Dramatic Changes 1840-1900. “He is the editor of all three volumes.” Dramatic Changes 1840- 1900 ” takes Laurens from the Mexican War, War Between the States to Reconstruction.The book includes the leaders ,businesses, houses and the genealogy to go with it.
Dr. A.V. Huff was very complementary of Volume II,” Revolution and County Growth 1775-1840. ”
We will be taking orders for the Books at the meeting.
