Join us for this introduction to plant-based nutrition that includes a presentation by Dr. Motley, followed by a cooking demo of three healthy recipes with plentiful samples. We will discuss dietary prevention and reversal of disease, plant-based nutrition research and facts, and using food as medicine.
Beth Morris Motley MD is dual board certified in Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine with focus on dietary prevention and reversal of disease. Relevant experience includes internship with Dr. John McDougall, participation in Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn’s Heart Disease Reversal Program, research and advocacy work at PCRM with Dr. Neal Barnard, and internship with Dr. Ron Weiss (Ethos Health). Terri Edwards is a licensed Food for Life instructor with Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and earned her certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies through eCornell University. She is also the blogger behind EatPlant-Based.com.
