An immortal and irresistible opera, Carmen is a thrilling, pulse-pounding production featuring some of the most famous classical music ever written. Glow’s production centers on a contemporary Carmen, who is a bright spirited cigar factory worker with a longing for freedom, fun and prosperity. As Carmen struggles to find stability, she hopes that her new relationship with Don José will be a way out of her circumstances. As she becomes aware of Don José’s troubled past and violent tendencies, she fights to live life on her own terms.
