“Cultivating Lifelong Family Well-Being” is a two-day professional development event at Furman University’s Younts Conference Center.

Day 1: The seventh annual Community Health Forum brings together numerous community partners from healthcare, academia and non-profit organizations to discuss progress and future goals for community health. This year’s conference, scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024, will focus on maternal health in South Carolina and is hosted by Furman University’s Institute for the Advancement of Community Health.

Day 2: The Desmond P. Kelly, MD Nurturing Developing Minds (NDM) Conference will be held Friday, March 8, 2024 at Furman University’s Younts Conference Center in Greenville, SC. NDM is a professional development conference that attracts a wide array of participants and provides an interactive learning opportunity for a broad, interconnected workforce. Sessions center around young children (generally, prenatal to age 8), their families and the systems that serve them.

NDM is sponsored by ICS, SC LEND, the South Carolina Developmental Disabilities Council, Greenville First Steps, Kincaid Retirement & Wealth Management and Julie Cline.
