Our May meeting will be at the Culbertson Backcountry Settlement in Gray Court.It is our annual PICNIC so bring your favorite dish. The paper products will be furnished.
It will begin at 6:00pm.. It will be Thursday May, 9, 2019.
The Gray Court Owings Historical Society will be happy to have you visit our 1800’s Log Cabins, Church, one room African American School.
Block house and other buildings.
The picnic will be rain or shine.
We can eat in the Church.
The programs are Free and open to the public. Remind our members and bring a friend or two.
We have Books for sale.” Discovering Laurens County” in 3 Volumes.
The Laurens County Museum and the Laurens Advertiser are selling the BOOKS.
WLBG Radio has been our ambassador of History and Genealogy for Laurens County.
We are thankful for Laurens County’s support.
Laurens has a rich History with great leaders and citizens who fought for American Independence.
