A theoretical physicist, Lightman bridges the gap between the worlds of
art, the humanities and science, and is an internationally recognized
thinker on the meaning of science for understanding ourselves. This talk is
based on his upcoming book, “The Transcendent Brain: Spirituality in the
Age of Science,” and the related public television series “SEARCHING: Our
Quest for Meaning in the Age of Science.” This event is free and is open to
the public.
