Welcome to the 10th anniversary of the BLUE RIDGE PRIDE pageant! This is a very important year for us, as Blue Ridge Pride is turning over a new leaf! This year our mission is “inclusion”. Meaning, any form of entertainer is welcome to compete for this prestigious title. We are opening up the requirements to better satisfy the members of our widely diverse and beautiful community. Drag isn’t just about the QUEENS.
This year we decided the best way to go is to allow any and all drag style entertainers the chance to win and reign as the face of Blue Ridge Pride. That includes but not limited to: Femmes, Queens, Transgender Entertainers, Kings, Misters, etc.. Our goal is to make everyone feel welcome within our community. No one left behind! As we dive into the 21st century the future of drag is changing. I just Figured we could be at the front of the uphill battle we have been fighting for years! With drag being engulfed in every media platform, on national television, and even bases of entertainment for children, what better way that to educate the uneducated than by showing the world what a diverse and beautiful community the Blue Ridge has to offer.
So with out further ado, if you think you have what it takes to be the next Blue Ridge Pride, We welcome YOU! And may the best HUMAN winnnn!
