In May 2022, Guy Boyle was certified as the new Chief Executive Officer for Spartanburg Water by the Commission of Public Works of the City of Spartanburg and the Spartanburg Sanitary Sewer District. Guy comes from the Macon Water Authority where he served as Executive Vice President of Business Operations and Chief Financial Officer since 2011.
