NastyNasty has quietly been giving producers and fans the screw face for the better part of a decade. Never complacent to settle on a specific sound, the thread tying his sonic landscape together can be summed up in a single word: exploration. A respectful declination to follow the rules and an enthusiasm for far reaching abstractions have generated an incredibly unique sound that cannot be reproduced. 2016’s “Broken Moon” album saw Jasper Reeder raising the flag of NastyNasty once more with a collection of bass heavy vignettes citing influences in; Punk, Dubstep, a plethora of genres that end in “core”, Noise and Rap. His constant, uncompromising commitment to coloring far outside the lines of any genre he flirts with has garnered praise from a slew of publications such as; The Fader, Xlr8r, Spin Magazine, Bassrush, Resident Advisor and more. DJ support for NastyNasty includes Bassnectar, Zed’s Dead, DJ Q-Bert, The Gaslamp Killer, Lefto and DJ Shadow. For 2017, NastyNasty is already sitting on a slew of collaborations with the likes of Bleep Bloop, G Jones, Sayer, and PROKO as well as working on his next solo release.

Atlanta native, FRQ NCY, dived into the scene in 2018 with leaders of bass playing his tracks from coast to coast. His most recent collaborative EP “Perplexity” dropped earlier this year with Mindset on Saturate Records, receiving compliments by revered musicians and highly notable music outlets.
Already sporting releases on labels such as Saturate Records, Sound Museum, Shadowtrix, Wormhole Music Group, and more, FRQ NCY delivers a unique heavy and sinister sound with his tracks. Perfectly layered melodies on top of thick futuristic basses, he sets an eerie yet powerful atmosphere for his listeners.
