Facez by Cynthia will be joined by Start:ME Spartanburg to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:00 p.m. on February 19, 2019 to celebrate the grand opening of the new retail space at 127 West Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29306.
Start:ME Spartanburg in partnership with USC Upstate’s Johnson College of Business and Economics and the Northside Development Group will facilitate the ribbon cutting ceremony. Start: ME Spartanburg was created to support aspiring entrepreneurs to start or grow their businesses with a focus on three 3 core components – knowledge in the form of access to education through business training, networks through resources and advice through mentoring, and capital through peer-selected small dollar micro loans.
The public is invited to join in the celebration for the ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening on February 19th.
As a Northside resident, childhood to adulthood, Cynthia Watson has witnessed the coming and going of past entrepreneurs attempting to succeed in the Northside community. Passionate about her career in cosmetology, Cynthia dreams of partnering in promoting positive community and economic growth in her childhood neighborhood by offering a specialty salon that would cater to residents from all financial backgrounds.
