Be here to witness local history unfolding during this nostalgic holiday evening one week before Thanksgiving as we have local mayors and other notable figures in the community here to open and read letters from your communities that have been sealed for 50 years! This will mark the beginning of 150 Days of History, during which we will share a piece of local history from the capsule or our collection each day on social media leading up to the conclusion of our Sesquicentennial celebration in April when Mark Wood returns to Pickens County.
