The ALS Association South Carolina Chapter operates under a shared mission: to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS through global, cutting-edge research, and to empower people with Lou Gehrig’s disease and their families to live fuller lives by providing them with compassionate care and support. The contributions of volunteers are essential to the chapter achieving its mission. Each year, our Chapter participates in numerous fundraising and information-based opportunities throughout our area. These activities create a multitude of tasks with which volunteers can easily assist, including administrative work and mailings, helping at various events and with patient services.
