Spartanburg Baker Kim Daisy to Sign Books at Fiction Addiction

Spartanburg, South Carolina native Kim Daisy will be signing copies of her new cookbook, Daisy Cakes Cookbook, at Fiction Addiction on Thursday, February 5th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

This event is free and open to the public. You can reserve copies of the book online or by calling us at 864-675-0540. We will also have books for sale at the event on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kim “Daisy” Nelson graduated from Wofford College and has been in the food business for over thirty years. Taught to cook at an early age by her grandmothers and great aunt Daisy, Kim has been a caterer, a restaurateur and a teacher, having started the cooking school Cooking Up a Storm in 1998.

Wanting to share her family heirloom recipes with a larger customer base, Kim started her company, Daisy Cakes, in 2009. She and her cakes have since been featured on hit shows like Shark Tank, The Nate Berkus Show, Anderson Cooper, ABC World News, Today Show, The Taste, and even (with her cakes as a featured prize) The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.
