The parade, a long standing City tradition, features over 75 musical marching units, elaborately decorated floats and, of course, Santa Claus. This year’s parade will take place on Main Street from Augusta Street to North Street on December 6 at 6 p.m.

Business, school or community groups interested in participating in this year’s parade can apply in one of the following categories with corresponding entry fees: floats ($100), non-profit or charitable organization floats ($50), marching/walking unit ($200) and non-profit or charitable organization walking unit ($75). Parade applications can be downloaded online at http://www.greenvillesc.gov/PublicInfo_Events/ChristmasParade.aspx and are due by Friday, November 7.
