Greenville Symphony Orchestra Presents “German Inspirations”

Greenville Symphony Orchestra presents “German Inspirations” on March 28th and 29th at The Peace Center Concert Hall.

This program presents masterworks written by great composers of three generations, but connected through glorious German musical traditions.

The Saturday performance begins at 8:00 pm, with the Sunday performance set to begin at 3:00 pm. Admission is $16-$57.

The evening culminates with the warmest lyricism and striking passion of Brahm’s invigorating Second Symphony.

Weber: Euryanthe, J. 291: Overture
Hindemith: Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber
Brahms: Symphony No. 2, Op. 73, D major

Paul Hyde will lead a Pre-Concert Talk one hour prior to the Saturday and Sunday performances backstage in the rehersal room of the Peace Center Concert Hall. These talks are free of charge and last approximately 45 minutes. Pre-Concert Talks give interesting insights to the program and composers to enhance your concert experience. Come join us!
