The TD Saturday Market will offer market-goers the opportunity to sample lunch items from local food trucks at two food truck rallies.
The market’s new Fork in the Road events are set for July 25 and September 26, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on W. McBee Avenue and will feature a variety of food trucks, including Chuck Truck, Ellada Kouzina, Automatic Taco, Highway 301, Thoroughfare, Kona Ice and Sweetly Twisted.
A staple event on Main Street each week, the TD Saturday Market features a variety of farm-fresh produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, seafood and other specialty foods from over 70 vendors. Shoppers are invited to stop by the It’s More than Just a Market activities area presented by Farm Bureau Insurance for a variety of family friendly events, including children’s educational programming at the Spuds & Sprouts booth presented by Greenville Health System, live acoustic music and cooking demonstrations performed by local farmers and chefs.
The TD Saturday Market is open Saturdays, May 2 through October 31 (excluding October 10), from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Main Street at McBee Avenue. Additional market special events include Penske Touch-a-Truck Day and the Autumn Harvest. Market shoppers can park for free from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot next to Grill Marks courtesy of Soby’s New South Cuisine or Park it for the Market all day for $2 at the Spring Street garage.
