Violinists Julie Rhyne and Ben Rawlinson, violists Philip Rawlinson and Gabriel Boyd, and cellist Will Rawlinson make up the Yūjō Quintet, a group dedicated to creating beautiful music and sharing their passion and love for chamber works of all kinds.
The Yūjō Quintet musicians are perennial members of the SC Region and All-State Orchestras, with two members chosen for the National Youth Orchestra in 2020 and 2021. The April 27 performance will feature works from famed European composers Maurice Ravel, Antonín Dvořák, Erwin Schulhoff, Frank Bridge, and Ralph Vaughan Williams.
