Home school students, aged 7 – 12 years old, are invited to participate in a photography class at the historic Belton Train Depot, Wednesday, Sept. 19, from 10 – 11:30 AM.
In addition to learning about the basics of photography, students will discover the historic progression of equipment and techniques by viewing the exhibit Portraits: An Historic Lens.
Students can bring their own cameras, or equipment will be provided for those who don’t have cameras. The class will be taught by B-HP News Chronicle photographer Norma Hughes-Smith.
Cost is $2 per student, and reservations are required by calling the museum at 338-7400 by Sept. 15.
