Public School Registration:
Parents/Guardians need the following documents to register their children in local public schools:
- Birth certificate;
- Immunization records;
- Medical forms from the County Health Department or a personal physician;
- and previous report card if transferring from another school.

Auto Registration and Driver’s Licenses:
If you move to South Carolina from another state, you have 45 days to transfer your vehicle title and registration. You may apply for the title and registration by mail. The Form 400, Application for Certificate of Title/Registration, which must be completed, contains the proper mailing address for the department. *Helpful Hint: The busiest days at the DMV offices are typically Mondays, Fridays and the 15th and 30th of the month.
To vote in city, county, state and federal elections, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, mentally sound and not under conviction of a felony. You must register 30 days prior to the election you wish to vote in. Registration may be done by mail or in person. Registration may also be done at any DMV office. Please contact the Election Commission for more information.

Newcomers Club of Greater Greenville
Membership is open to all new persons of Greater Greenville during their first two years of residency. Members will be eligible for membership for five consecutive years. After five years members will become associate members.
