Cobb’s Glen Country Club

Cobb’s Glen Country Club was built in 1976 by George Cobb. The club has hosted the 1978 and 1986 South Carolina Sate Amateur championships and the 1993 and 1995 Nike Tour Open Qualifying. Cobb’s design features gentle rolling hills a wooded setting and bent grass greens. From the championship tees, Cobb’s Glen plays to 7,002 yards with a slope of 120.

Hunter’s Creek Plantation

The Oak Nine at Hunter’s Creek Plantation opened in 1995. Tome Jackson designed the course. Many of the holes are open, while others are bordered by woods. You’ll find bermuda grass on both the greens and fairways.

The Preserve at Verdae Golf Club

This 18-hole championship par 72 course designed by Willard Byrd features Bermuda grass fairways and mini-verde Bermuda grass greens. In addition to the course, the facility features large all grass practice areas with driving range, putting green, chipping and short game green

River Falls Plantation

River Falls Plantation, located just west of Spartanburg, is a Gary Players design that combines hilly terrain and sharp slopes with thick

rough and slick bent grass greens.

Links O’Tyron

Links O’Tryon, by Tom Jackson, was voted the number one semi-private golf course in the Upstate by Golfweek magazine. Situated just below the North Carolina border, the course is laid out within seven different mountains and offers a spectacular view from every hole. Carolina Adaptive Golf

Carolina Adaptive Golf is a non-profit organization that provides adaptive golf therapy to assist veterans and children overcoming challenges such as autism, PTSD, amputation, spinal injuries, brain injuries, and life threating diseases. Carolina adaptive golf helps build confidence, promote diversity and inclusion, and improve the quality of life for hundreds of veterans and children in South Carolina.
