alk about holding on to a dream. While the Marsh's lived in England, they loved their weekend B&B stays in the countryside. "That's when we planned to open a B&B in an area that was warmer then northern Illinois, where we were born and have lived most of our lives. Our search went on for almost a decade. In 1990, we moved to Asheville and found what eventually became North Lodge and our home. Over a four year period, while we both worked full time, we did all the finish work on what had been a derelict house. Some of our guests stay with us specifically to talk about rehabing an old house!"
