Entry is only $5.About Cuban: His words have journeyed over 100,000 miles throughout the United States. From universities to various clubs, national conferences to coffee shops, have heard his work: spoken word rich with hip hop undertone. Since a young age Cuban has always been a loud voice in the microphone, being a representative of Jacksonville since 2003 in regional and national poetry slams. At the age of 18 he became the youngest competitor to ever win the Southern Fried Poetry Slam, which he captured in 2006 as an individual. In 2007 he was on one of the strongest slam teams in the country: "Minorateam," with poets, Lizz Straight, Saina Tomas, and HBO Def poet Asia Sampson. Together they placed third in the Southern Fried poetry Slam. The following year in 2008 they took first. Cuban has been a guest speaker/performer for the PGA, Wutang Clan , WJCT, NPR, The Miami Poverty Conference, along with numerous news features, various internet podcast and radio programs. In 2009 Cuban released his Fourth album "Planet of Dreams" under his label and youth poetry organization "Shattered Thought". He also was the featured Artist on the "Red Bull North America Poetry Gives You Wing Tour", and is currently finishing up his first collection of short poems "Cuban Shorts" while embarking on his first worldwide tour. About Henzbo: Born in Bristol, TN and raised in Evansville, IN, Adam became captivated by the power of the spoken word through his participation in the Bruno E. Jacob National Championship Forensics team and regionally-acclaimed Theatre Department at F.J. Reitz High School. In 2001 he received a full scholarship to Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY, where he helped the William E. Bivin Forensics team become the most successful speech and debate program in history--capturing several state, regional, national, and world titles. In 2005 he attended his first National Poetry Slam tournament in Albuquerque, NM, where he placed fifteenth in the nation among hundreds of poets. He has performed at over 40 universities, stretching from the University of California Los Angeles to George Mason University. Adam has been on PBS's emmy-award winning series "Mainstreet," and has performed at the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame. He has one CD, "Sprouted Loud," produced by the Nappy Roots' Buffalo Stille.
