SC Insurance Brokers was formed in 2008 by four partners who all have unique but complimentary backgrounds in the insurance industry. These backgrounds include but are not limited to sales, service, finance, human resources, underwriting and management. Within their first four years of business they have been recognized as one of the fastest growing insurance agencies in the state. In addition to the growth in SC, they have opened markets in other states such as North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Pennsylvania. During this time they have been able to grow 100%, 250%, and 100% respectively over the past 3 years in business. They attribute this growth to making their primary focus on the needs of their clients.

Chris Collins and Dante Russo are responsible for front line production and operations. In addition to taking pride in growing the business, they are equally passionate about giving back to their community through non-profit, government, and business involvement. They have both been recognized as "Best and Brightest under 35" (2008 & 2009) by Greenville Magazine, and have also been featured on the cover of Link Publication (Jan 2010) regarding "How to turn a big idea into a full-time job." Chris was part of Leadership Greenville Class 36 while Dante is currently in Leadership Greenville Class 38. Both have been very instrumental in the growth of PULSE; by serving on multiple committees starting back in 2007, and both serving two year terms on the PULSE board.

Chris Collins currently serves on the Human Relations Commission, the Greenville Chamber's Board of Governors, coaches Youth Wrestling at Frazee Dream Center. He also served on the Greenville Children's Hospital Advisory Council (2008-2011) and was recognized as Coach of the Year from SC Youth Wrestling Association (2009-2010), Big Brother of the year award/National Finalist (Big Brothers & Big Sisters 2010), and with the Carolina Panthers Community Quarterback Award (2008), and Safeco Insurance Community Hero Award (2008).

Dante Russo currently serves on the BI-LO Center and Charter Amphitheatre Board of Directors, and the Greenville Children's Hospital Advisory Council. He also served Greenville County's Safety Coalition through Greenville Family Partnership (2008-2011), on Greenville County's "Get Buckled" committee (2008-2011), as Chairman of the Social and Recruitment Committee for the Greenville Main Street Kiwanis (2009)., and was published in the 2011 edition of Marquis Who's Who in America.
