South Atlantic Environmental Drilling and Construction Co. Inc. (SAEDACCO) announced that it will relocate to South Carolina. The environmental remediation company will establish a manufacturing operation in a new 20,000 square-foot facility in the Lancaster 521 Industrial Park, located in the Indian Land community of Lancaster County. In South Carolina, the company plans to invest $1 million and create 40 jobs over a five-year period. These new positions will be well paid in terms of manufacturing wage rates, with an average hourly pay of $14. SAEDACCO, founded in 1993 and currently doing business in Charlotte, NC, is a southeast regional environmental services company that provides drilling and construction for the environmental industry. The company has expanded its range of services to now include drilling, storage tank removal, soil excavation, soil and groundwater remediation system fabrication and installation, and system operation and maintenance. SAEDACCO is structured to provide turnkey construction service from the initial site investigation through the remediation phase.
