 The Greenville Little Theatre continues its 2009-10 season with award winning playwright August Wilson's The Piano Lesson. It is now playing through November 7. It�s the story of the Charles Family�s precious family heirloom, a ghostly piano that is haunted by a dramatic past. An uplifting and humorous family drama, it won Wilson his second Pulitzer prize for Drama in 1990 and confirmed his status as one of America's most important and innovative playwrights.
GLT guest director John Fagan has assembled an all star cast for this fabulous production. GLT past performers Hugh McLean, Jeremiah Dew, Jason Bryant, Tai Hogan, Juanita Peake, and Aaron Watson are joined by newcomers Joy Findley and Christopher Utsey. Tickets prices are $25 with discounts available for seniors, children, and groups of ten or more. Show dates are Oct. 23-24, 29-31, Nov 5-7 at 8 pm. and Oct. 25 & Nov 1 at 3 pm.
