Greenville County Schools Select Schools Application Process in Progress, Online Applications Only Accepted

Greenville County Schools' Select Schools Program have began accepting applications for enrollment for the 2007-08 school year.

This year�s application process is being conducted online through the Greenville County Schools website. Parents may submit an application by logging on to http://parent.greenville.k12.sc.us (Online Monday, November 6). Parents may submit an application to more than one Select School.

An event will be held at a central location in Greenville for parents who would like assistance in completing an online application. (Details will be forthcoming.)

Parents may also visit any Select School to complete an application.

All applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2006. Applications are judged based on selection guidelines.

Twelve Select Schools, or magnet academies of accelerated learning, offer unique educational programs at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. The academies feature distinct instructional opportunities in academic excellence, fine arts, foreign languages, international studies, mathematics, pre-engineering technology and health professions, science and technology, traditional studies, and year-round education.
