It's time for the Upper SC State Fair! The first fair of the season, the Upper SC State Fair has something for everyone, including an appetizing array of foods, spectacular entertainment and RIDES, RIDES, and MORE RIDES! The Exhibit Hall has everything from crafts to antique tractors, and the star-spangled midway is provided, for the third year in a row, by Playword Amusements.Daily shows on the Midway that are free with gate admission include:
The annual Upper SC State Fair also boasts some of the widest variety of food found anywhere. From pizza to Polish sausage, from corn-on-the-cob to mouth-watering funnel cakes, cotton candy and steak on a stick, all the smells of these delectable foods can be found floating throughout the air, of the Upper South Carolina State Fairgrounds. While wandering through the midway and participating in the many events offered at this year's fair, be sure to grab an ice-cold beverage! Most of the food vendors will have drinks available, such as soft drinks, iced tea and of course, the long-time fair favorite, Mike's fresh-squeezed lemonade. The Fair staff, volunteers, and the Greenville Jaycees are committed to making sure everyone has an enjoyable time.
